Been thinking of getting certified to dive, but just haven't had the time? Now there's an easy way to slap on some fins, strap on a mask, and experience some intense adventure. Virtually anyone in good health and reasonably fit can learn to scuba dive. Participants as young as 10 may complete the PADI Open Water Diver programme and receive a junior credential until they reach 15 years of age.
Here at Ocean Quest we run a wide range of courses from beginner all the way up to Instructor, along with a wide variety of Specialist Courses; see the menu on the left for a full description of the courses.
Pool and theory sessions are held at the University of Wales Institute Cardiff (U.W.I.C) Cyncoed Campus on a Thursday evening 6pm - 8pm, at Hebron Hall on a Saturday Morning 8.15am - 12 noon and at the National Olympic pool in Swansea on a Tuesday evening 6pm - 9pm.
The Cardiff swimming pool is situated within the recreational leisure facility at the rear of the University Campus. U.W.I.C. is positioned at the top of Cyncoed Rd adjacent to Roath Park Cardiff. Start time is 6.00pm or at Hebron Hall, on a Saturday Morning Start Time 8.15 am. The Swansea swimming pool is situated opposite Singleton Hospital in the new Leisure facility. Start time is 6.00pm
